Classical ballet

Classical Ballet originated in the 16th century and made famous by King Louis XIV. Various schools of ballet have developed their own unique style.

Classical Ballet is a fixed system with the positions of the arms, feet, head and total body. This formal system teaches the dancer to move with speed, control, flexibility, and elegance. The class begins with exercises at the barre, then in the center and ends with powerful leaps and jumps and graceful dance combinations. Classical Ballet provides a solid basis for all other dance styles.

The classification is according to level. Dancers with a good level of classical technique from the age of 12, can begin training on Pointes.

Ballet can be followed from the 1st grade.
